Ride Redux

Hey y'all,
we did it again!
Having cajoled some of my friends into doing the ride this year on the basis of the good time I had last year, imagine their suprise when it turned biblical at the top of Burrington. Sadly we had to abandon around Wedmore, BUT......
We are a determined lot so we set off again last saturday night from the Channings and arrived with a sense of satisfaction at the Harbour View caff around 8.30 for (in my case) a couple of monster veggie breakfasts. Of course we missed your lovely tea stops, but thanks to a collection of friends and relatives along the way who were good enough to stay awake we managed to keep fuelled up to the end.
We had a great night. Looking forward to next year already.
